So many ideas and things to write about, but there are things in life we must attend to. Work, family, household chores, household repairs, yard work, dogs, dog poo… yech… then all of the other hobbies one may have. There isn’t a short cut to anything. We have to develop a process, put it to practice, and then we must practice patience to make it all work out.

Patience, practice, and persistence are words I live by as a performing musician and teacher. Short cuts don’t work. You can’t just magically make a skill happen. You can’t shortcut maintaining a house. Repairs require money, time, and patience. When you are working on a home on the historic registry it requires problem solving. A small drywall project may take five hours, because you keep coming across obstacles that prevent success. When you have mastiffs it is a challenge to keep things nice and clean… Who am I kidding? Children are easier to clean up after than mastiffs.

There are zero short cuts in life that work. We are seeing this on display in our nation’s capital. $47 and his henchmen and women keep breaking the laws of the Constitution and defying the laws created by Congress and ruled on by the Judicial Branch. They keep implementing everything as quickly as possible to overwhelm and subdue us. Their shortcuts are backfiring. We need to continue making it backfire.

I’ve decided to send a simple email to my congressional representatives daily. I saw this simple message on social media. I’m not the author of this message. I’m simply sharing it. If you’re fed up with the lunacy, let’s focus on a clear message to congress.

Oh, the will of the people… It isn’t easy. There are no shortcuts. Governing is difficult, challenging, and a struggle. You can’t just spin a version of one’s truth and call it good when it is not based in fact. Even if you repeat the same message over and over again. It’s still false! I’m not just speaking of $47. We also need to impeach every one of the secretaries within the executive branch. The Attorney General needs to lose her license to practice law. The advisors and authors of Project 2025 also need to be arrested and charged with treason as they work to assist in toppling the American Constitution. None of what they are doing is legal.
