The House of Representatives passed the budget resolution last night by a very slim margin along party lines. Zero Republicans voted against the $880B cut to Medicaid as well as a tax break for the richest Americans. There is a lot to unpack here, and then there is my representatives response to a protest my the Democratic Party hosted at her office.

First, I’ll just say that the Republican Party has absolutely no love for the people of the United States. Each of them are bought and paid for with dark money. They are all holding to the party line, kneeling before their master, and then praying on the House floor after they sell the American people to the highest bidder. These are not conservatives. Nothing about them is conservative. These are neoliberal capitalist fascists ready to trade on the commodity of the human condition while practicing their pseudo-religion.

Medicaid/Medicare and Social Security are paid by taxes directly taken from all citizens that work. These taxes pay the required committed spending for these programs. It is not discretionary spending. I’ve been paying into it for decades as have most people I know. The $880B cut will be sending our hard earned tax dollars to pay for the Republican tax cut and discretionary spending. The Republicans will be stealing from the people’s bank to fund their private enterprise. The Republicans aren’t cutting $880B to send back to the people over ten years. They will still collect it, but embezzle it to somewhere else. Yes, they are stealing/embezzling/misappropriating money.

How hard will this hit? Well there are 78,058,701 enrolled in Medicaid according to the website (2024.) https://www.medicaid.gov/medicaid/program-information/medicaid-and-chip-enrollment-data/report-highlights/index.html This $880B cut will withdraw $11,275 in Medicaid support for each individual over a ten year interval not counting costs of living increases. That could be the costs of needed medications to survive each year. One extended hospital stay and people could be bankrupt. Meanwhile a billionaire can expect to gain tens of thousands in rebates pending their gross income. Here is the kicker, the Republican Party thinks this money will make it back into the economy as jobs!!! It has been proven time and time again that this doesn’t happen. Any Americans that read this need to be protesting, calling, writing emails, letters, whatever. This will hurt everyone around you that depends on Medicaid. I know nearly a dozen people in my neighborhood that depend on this service, not including family members. I’m infuriated by this. Which brings me to…

Second, Mariannette Miller-Meeks is the Representative of the First District of Iowa. She is a third term Republican Representative. She is a Veteran who retired as a Lt. Colonel. I’m just going to be blunt. Rep. Miller-Meeks you are a coward. You are not telling the truth. Now to respond to her lies here. The democrats are only wanting to raise the taxes on the most wealthy Americans chiefly billionaires. If Berkshire Hathaway can pay $26.8B according to Warren Buffett then Elon Musk can pay $126.8B or more. Tax increases on farmers and small business? That’s another joke. Democrats have done more to resurrect the market for agriculture foreign trade in the past four years to undo $45/47’s lousy business practices… and… soon… to be… tariffs… So much for NAFTA 2.0! Family farmers would be spared, but factory farms wouldn’t. Yes there are many farms in the USA owned by large businesses. They get subsidies, even more so than family farmers do. Let’s be real when was the last time a good Republican congressmen donated to Farm Aid? Those hippie democrats like Willie Nelson and Dave Matthews care more about farmers than Republicans like Miller-Meeks, except when they donate tens of thousands of dollars to the campaign. For the record, Rep. Miller-Meeks my taxes have gone up more under Republican administrations than Democratic ones. I’ve seen numerous credits eliminated and it has cost my family more to live under Republican reign than Clinton, Obama, and Biden.

This American First agenda blows. It is a sack of cow shit. It alienates us from our allies, trade partners, and crushes any possible decent foreign relations with democratic countries. We don’t need to be pals with Russia. We need Ukraine on our side. Sixth richest natural resources on the planet, and they are the breadbasket of Europe, and they want to be a part of NATO. The greatest alliance since WWII, until bad catholic, megadeath drunkard for the defense, and $47 pissed on it. Ms Miller-Meeks you were in the army, why on Earth would you dance with the Russian oligarchic fascists? Get your head out of $47 and Musk’s ass. Now!!!

I’ve determined that Miller-Meeks is a lousy representative for Iowa. She collects money from outside her district. She runs smear campaigns. She collect donations from Big Pharma, medical companies, and Consumer lobbies who enjoy profiting off the people. She is outright lying to Iowa and the Nation for that matter. I think maybe it is time for her to resign from politics and go back into private practice. Or maybe just retire. Back to Ottumwa, IA or California where she was raised.

I’m not the least bit sorry for any of these words. She insulted every single Iowa with that sack of word vomit she called a statement. The Republicans are completely out to lunch and drunk on their neoliberal capitalist cocktail. I’m sick of the condescending insults the Republicans give to the American people.
