Now it begins another era of linear talking points and the reduction of complicated issues into binary talking points that are all based on fictional hearsay to propagandize an ignorant populace that trusting in them will make them feel good, while complicated solutions are against their best interest.

This has been the go to for the Republican Party since World War II when their own economic debacles that caused the Great Depression and Roosevelt’s New Deal kept them out of the oval office for 20 years. This was how George W. Bush defeated Gore and Kerry. His simple narrative appealed to the ignorance of the country. While the more complicated truth offered by Gore and Kerry was criticized for being too difficult. I have a news flash for everyone. The truth is always more complicated than the linear line items you have received for 80+ years.

This is how #47 will govern. Everything will be based on a for profit or a binary decision. No variable will be considered outside of yes/no or profit/loss. We saw this today when he made an executive decision that gender in the United States will be male/female. It doesn’t matter that scientific truth demonstrates that there are more genders than male/female. DNA and genetic understanding of any species requires an understanding of evolution, but this contradicts God made man/woman from the Earth. Simply put it is easier to believe in the religion than accept scientific fact. The latter requires thought. The former requires faith. One is way easier to do than the other. This is the linear thinking the U.S.A. can enjoy: Smoke, mirrors, illusions, anti-intellectualism, and ignorance.

Now let’s move on to the California Wildfires situation. The Republicans want to punish California for being a blue state and hold FEMA money back. Their propaganda machine from Georgia suggests using cloud seeding or salt water to put out the fires. Their lack of environmental understanding is freakishly stupid. Really though? Punish a state? Are we back to the Civil War? Are y’all that stupid that you wish to alienate and punish the 5th largest economy in the world? What if California decides to secede and rejoin Mexico? How will that affect the red states? You need the blue state’s tax money to pay for your infrastructure. Even then the Red States give all their tax money to private interests instead of public interests, because that is how neoliberal economics works… I know what you will do, you will declare war on Mexico and California and the country will no longer exist. The United States will fracture into pieces. That’s how binary thinking works.

When #45 left office in 2020 the unemployment rate was near 16% due to the horrific way he handled the pandemic. Binary thinking leads to bad results. In 2008-2012 unemployment hovered near 10% due to the recession caused by banking deregulation during the Bush years (binary thinking.) Republicans forced Obama’s hand to do a bank bailout at tax payer expense. This black eye will always affect Obama’s legacy, and firmly places Obama as a neoliberal sympathizer. Since #47’s election unemployment is on the rise. Now let’s get on this renaming campaign by #47 and his cronies. The Gulf of Mexico will always be the name of the body of water East of Mexico and South of the United States. You can call it whatever you want, but the world will ignore you. Denali is the preferred name of the highest peak in North America. McKinley was not a particularly good president and does not deserve his name on the mountain. The Native Americans of Alaska should always have naming rights. #47 and every American of European descent should just shut their mouths regarding naming things in this country. Renaming already named Native American landmarks just reinforces our racist history and further demonstrates ignorance.

The emergency at the border of Mexico is nothing more than racist smokescreen. There have been illegal border crossings my entire life. None of these illegal immigrants have harmed our nation economically. They do not have social security numbers, they can’t qualify for basic services, they survive in a cash only environment. Now if they become legal immigrants, many become excellent members of our society bringing their cultural ways, work ethic, and hope to otherwise economically challenged areas. The idea that the Latino/Hispanic illegal immigrant is a criminal and deviant is a false binary narrative to gain support for isolationism and racist purity. If religion played into it the issue it would be more complicated, and that doesn’t work well in the Christian Nationalist linear narrative. Just to be clear, most Latino/Hispanic people are faithful to the Catholic Church. The Latino/Hispanic culture is family oriented. Community is a sacred part of Latino/Hispanic community, but let’s just label all of them cartel employees and scavengers. That is the essence of the #47 regime, racism and hate.

As of this writing the National Debt is $34 Trillion. In 2016 at the start of #45’s term it was $19.573 Trillion. The debt rose by $8 Trillion during his term. The debt has risen $7 Trillion during Biden’s term. I fully expect this to rise even further in #47’s term. I bet the debt will be close to $50 Trillion based on the tax cuts that will be in place by the end of the first year. I expect interest rates to climb higher and debt per household to climb even more based on the atrocious labor management of billionaires. Selfishness and Greed are the names of the Republican game. I’m not sure what our debt threshold is, but if the American Government goes bankrupt then the United States will become the Corporate States of America and we will be ruled by an oligarchic council similar to the one Russia is governed by. This will complete our transaction from citizen to commodity. We will be worth whatever our debt load is, and all property will be owned by the Corporate council. I think there is a television show that develops that premise. It was Canadian too. I think it was Continuum.

This is what linear/binary thinking gets you. Oversimplified solutions for complex problems that just repeat the same mistakes of history. This is evidently what most Americans want, and why our neighbors all around the world are worrying. Narrow mindedness caused WWII… This is what I fear for the future… I’m not alone… My dissent… will not disappear…
