Hello dear reader! It has been a few days since I picked up the virtual pencil and scrawled on the blank page. They wrap themselves in the flag and declare they are the party of unalienable rights, yet they want to continue removing rights from everyone that isn’t a Christian white heterosexual male. I dissent with the ridiculousness. How can one vote with a party of inequality? It sure isn’t functional conservatism…

I’m a card carrying clergyman from the internet. Yes, I went and certified myself in order to marry couples. I have performed exactly one ceremony, and the ceremony I performed was on the day same sex couples were lawfully recognized as legal couples. A glorious day it was and a beautiful day for a wedding! I was asked by a former student and her future husband to perform the ceremony, and I accepted their honor to do so. I would gladly perform nuptials for same sex marriages without bias or judgment. Love is love regardless of the sex or gender of the individuals professing it. I would happily provide that service for free. Why is there a problem with this? The only thing missing from their decree is the stoning ceremony. This is where the hypocrisy gets started (they will do everything but the stoning.)

The Bible was written by human beings. It was not written by a celestial being of great power as many would profess. This is faith at work, not logic or science. Human beings will enact any number of biases within their writing to achieve a cultural goal when it comes to defending their God. My bias: I want everyone to be treated equally, equitably, and kindly. King James wanted his own bible, and the flowery Shakespearean text was written for him. It is full of political bias of the time, and it mutes the evils of the monarchy as much as possible. #45 wrapped himself in the coat of many colors while trying to sell his copy of the Bible. If we look at the historical precedence of when the Bible was written and whom it was possibly written by we can see how the authors would write or say anything that was the polar opposite of the ruling kingdom’s behaviors.

Same sex relationships were as common as heterosexual ones. It wasn’t uncommon for even more carnal behaviors in or out of wedlock. Roman soldiers would humiliate their conquered male foes by raping them to establish their masculine power and supremacy. If you were one of the Jewish or early Christian writers of the books in the Old or New Testament wouldn’t you write in opposition to Ancient Rome’s behavior? Or Babylon? Alexander the Great? Egyptian Pharaohs? Of course you would. Everything you would write would be the polar opposite of your conqueror or the ruling class per one’s religious utopian ideal. Yes, a metaphorical utopia, from the viewpoint of enslavement. A guidebook of sorts based on preferences of religious leaders of the time. Word of God? Word from God? Inspired by worship? I can’t answer these questions. No one was there to witness these writings. This is why it is called faith. FYI, Sir Thomas More wrote a treatise called Utopia.

These include invertebrate and vertebrate species alike. Whether they are insects, amphibians, mammals, or humans same sex preferences exist. This has been scientifically observed and studied repeatedly to be determined as fact. What science is learning now is why or how does this occur. Gender/Sex science has exposed any number of false narratives coming from religious prophesy, text, or belief It isn’t a choice. It isn’t a lifestyle. It is a biological drive. Biologically (scientifically) speaking our species is capable of being wired or genetically driven to respond to either sex emotionally. You love who you love. By trying to use the Bible as a rule of law based on religious and historical bias to quell natural biology is like asking my mastiffs to climb a tree. It is failure, plain and simple. Faith and belief are not going to change the outcome of scientific biology. It is time for the religious right and the republican party to drop their spiritual quest of purity, racial, and sexual domination and accept scientific fact. Please use one’s faith and belief to transform your spiritual quest individually and not persecute against anyone please!!!

This is an explanation of how man was created in the BC timeline. We have now determined scientifically how every species has evolved on this planet. We have determined through fossil records and geological records that the Earth has been here four billion plus years. God has been archaic society’s answer to all things that we can’t answer. If we symbollically break that down further we have God creating mankind in his own image. Science has determined that we can be genetically predisposed to same sex attraction, therefore then God must also be predisposed to same and different sexual relationships simultaneously, right? The ignorance of Christian Nationalism has done more harm to this country, education, and the people in it than Darwin’s theory of evolution. This cultural indoctrination denies our basic biological existence by using the religious euphoria of the Holy Spirit like a drug to bind ourselves to a Puritanical rule of clergyman. It’s insanity really. It lacks logical thought. Is there a God? I don’t know. From a faith paradigm we want a yes. Scientifically the answer is no. We want a meaning for our existence. Religion gives us a meaning to an existence. Science shows our place within this existence. However, religion does not give us the right to persecute people for their biology in a court of law. I still think the United States keeps church and state separated? Sorry, sarcasm.

The LGBTQ community deserves all of the human rights as anyone else on this planet. These beautiful people have the right to exist in God’s image just as the Nationalists do. The thought of Gay marriage should disappear and be replaced with MARRIAGE! It’s like the term Gay Rights. No, it should be HUMAN RIGHTS!!! Whether the couple is two men, two women, man or woman, or any other gender of human that I missed. Allow love to nurture itself naturally. Allow family to be whatever it will be. Allow love of one another to exist without some illogical paradigm built by bias. This religious ideal of marriage is simply based on antiquated documents of metaphorical nature wrapped up in a churches political biased bow. Give it up Republicans!!!
